After charging a long time it showed a big red "X" on the phone, which seemed to imply that there was a error (according to the phone's hardware). I didn't like this battery. The battery did last longer than my previous one (which had lost capactiy due to memory, I think), but I'll buy the manufacturer's battery in the future to eliminate risk.
But, as I've been using it, the battery level on the phone, when turned on, shows the battery is full and works great. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Also, it never shows it is "full". When charging, it takes a long time, so, i just make sure I do in the evening when I know I'm finished with my phone. I've had the battery about a month and it works very well. For under $10, I was shocked to be able to get an extended battery with door. It has a glitch. In fact, on my phone it shows a red "x" over the battery.
Not sure if it is the battery or the phone (though my conclusion is that it is the phone that is at fault), but the battery takes a really long time to charge -- more than 8 hours a night. That said, the abttery lasts all day of fairly heavy use. If you can deal with these minor issues -- and they are much better than running out of juice -- buy this battery. Batteries arrived promptly. The Moto Q battery indicator often cannot show the charge stat and I need to power down/up to get it to not register an X in the battery charge indicator.Overall - pleased with the battery, but not with how the phone interacts with it.
It really improved my battery life and having used it for 3 weeks I have not had to charge the phone as much. The product arrived on time and works as mentioned. HIghly recommend the product and the seller.
These batteries require 8 to 10 hours to fully charge. Description suggests a product from Motorola but packaging doesn't. Batteries I've purchased through Amazon.com from other suppliers in the past charge in just a few hours.
